Growing together as a creative, learning community;
Nurturing a spirit of positivity and respect;
Revelling in the potential of each moment;
Respecting every unique child of God.
At the Revel Primary School we hold Christian beliefs and values as central to all that we do. The relationship between home and school is one of partnership, the co-operation and support between both is essential to your child’s development at school. We will provide excellent staff and resources to enable your child to receive a full and balanced education, rich in experience within a broad based curriculum, which will lead to him/her reaching their full potential.
Together we support the following aims:
•To encourage children to develop enquiring minds, self respect initiative and independence in their learning.
•To provide for the intellectual, spiritual, physical and creative needs of all the children in our care.
•To nurture a caring, Christian attitude, in partnership with the church and wider community, thereby laying a firm foundation for later life.
•To provide a curriculum which respects each child’s learning potential, sets high standards and has high expectations.
•To enrich the child’s pleasure in learning by offering a variety of stimulating experiences.
The Revel Primary School has three sites:
The main school, home to Key Stage 1 and 2 is situated in the village of Monks Kirby and the Reception unit is located in the nearby village of Brinklow. From September 2016 the school took over the Early Birds Nursery located in the village of Harborough Magna
The learning environment at our reception unit in Brinklow has been carefully designed to enable children to move from focused activities both inside and out, so that they enjoy their learning interact freely and make progress.
From September 2018, the school formed a federation with Wolvey C of E Primary School to form The Ignite Federation. Mr Edwards who was previously the substantive Head at The Revel was appointed as Executive Headteacher within the federation and Mrs Worthington who was the Deputy Head was appointed as Head of School.
