Over the past year Mr Edwards has been working with Warwickshire Local Authority to create and trial a ‘Fair Workload’ charter mark which schools can apply for. In order to gain the award, all staff are surveyed and the anonymous results are aggregated before a final decision is made. We are thrilled that The Revel is the first (and currently only) primary school in Warwickshire to have gained the award. The mark acknowledges the team effort in tackling and reducing unnecessary work for staff and focussing on the areas that have the greatest impact on the children. Huge well done Team Revel for working together on tackling this big issue - this explains why so many people are queuing up to come and work at The Revel!
A huge congratulations to everyone involved with the Year 1 phonics screening check this year. We are thrilled to be able to say that 95% of our children passed this reading check and so ensuring that as many children as possible get off to a great start in their reading at The Revel. June 2019
